Free Iced Coffee Alert
Half priced frappuccinos are nice, but free is always better. Today from 4pm to 10pm Dunkin Donuts will be giving away free iced coffee. Afternoon pick-me-up needing freeloaders engage. [Blondie and Brownie]

Wasn’t the DD on 50th converted into a Tim Horton’s?
Also, the Riese Restaurants corp is notorious for not participating in franchise promotions…

I noticed that the awning at the DD/Baskin-Robbins on 3rd Ave and 20th reads “Ice Cream | Baking Place.” Huh? Isn’t “baking place” the ESL equivalent of “bakery”?

I just got a free mini (like… maybe 6oz?) frappuccino in front of Starbucks on 35th and 5th. It had whipped cream on it an everything. It was my first Frappuccino. Meh. I liked the whipped cream.

2.58 for a grande mocha frap. Good deal when regualr is 5+. I needed a coffee pick-me-up.
I’ll check DD later. There’s like 3 near my office. I’d hope one is doing the promo. -

Looks like the NY deal was not full day like the other markets but a “regional promotion” offered from 4-10pm. Was anyone able to get free coffee at DD yesterday? We saw the sign for the free coffee in one of the midtown DD locations. That would be really lame if they had the signage and didn’t offer the promo.

Sigh, I will bet you dollars to donuts (get it!) that the DD near me on 50th street isn’t participating in this promotion…
