@Sarah… Cheese gets what I’m trying to say… I assumed the Happy Hour blog was intended to be geared more towards bars, dives, etc that had a variety of good alcoholic beverage deals, and an enjoyable crowd with the cheap good food being the extra kick there… This one was for the most part, all about the food since there was no crowd… and there was very brief mentioning of what the patrons ordered to drink… no mention if the cocktails were strong, if the bartender was friendly, if it looked like it might be a fun place to gather a happy hour crowd… Just constructive criticism… not saying i can do better or saying this sucks..

The place was only mildly full. About 3 other tables -besides us were full and that was it. Lots of people doing take out though.

My opinion is this place can go 2 ways: either you come with friends (like I did) and enjoy food, conversation and drink amongst yourselves or this is a great place to relax after work, stuff your face, and mellow out to a couple of drinks.

I have to say– $4-$5 for bottle beers and cocktails in Midtown, so this vegetarian thinks is a good deal whether food is present or not! I’m about this option! so to you, WizardlyLou, I say: what did you want? pictures of Corona

LOL I know this site is about food and all but I thought this weekly article was supposed to be about places to get cheap drinks, with cheap unhealthy food being the extra throw in… lately it seems like the focus is put on the food served rather then the drinking, partying, ambiance of a midtown happy hour place.
