I had the Barros Luco Italiano, and it was ok but not nearly as flavorful as I had hoped. I will try the place again, though.

I must have missed you January entry about Chile – just read it now – I was in Chile the same time as well. Loved the food so much, we had a palta, palmito and pisco party when we returned. The pics were everything my bf and I tried, but you missed the congrio! Anyways, enough about the trip, am excited about Barros Luco! Going to try it this week….

The wait for your food is a little long, but I enjoyed the steak, thought it was decent for a "fast"-food joint. The chicken, not so much. I've posted a few more of my thoughts here

Have to say that I was disappointed by the size of the hotdogs. I saws Bourdain’s Chile episode and was all excited about the mega sized Chilean dogs. But the Completo that I had was puny. Still, the dog was pretty tasty.

The sandwiches really looked small. To really fill up at the place, one’d have to spend a good $20.00 or more.
