Oh, and i've been pronouncing Jamaican Dutchy wrong all this time. Apparently, it's pronounced more like, 'Jamaican Douche-y".

Next time I go to that cart, i'll be sure to wear Abercrombie and call everyone "brah"

Damn, the Country Boys truck was the only one I didn't get to try because the line was just too ridiculously long.

Saw Zach (and family) near the Big Gay Ice Cream truck, but got distracted by the delicious cupcakes at the Cupcake Stop, and by the time I looked back, he was nowhere to be found. Probably should have stayed past 4:15 when he would've been at the judges table and I could've said hi... oh well.

I'm with you rinda. I like Rickshaw because of the different flavors they have, and it's why I used to stop in their shop when I was in the area (I'm no hater, really.) But I like my dumplings fried. I like the five for a buck cheapo fried dumplings in chinatown more than the soggy Rickshaw dumplings.

I can sympathize with the whole "Rickshaw Dumplings SUCK!" sentiment. I've never had them, and probably never will because of what everyone has said (and plus, I've never seen a single good picture of them).

That said, unless these things are made of Soylent Green, then they'll invariably have to close up shop if they suck so bad that people cease to spend their money on such an "inferior" product.

That said, they're still in business, and I can only imagine that's because they're making enough money to pay back their debtors. Some people out there must like them enough to be repeat customers to keep them in business. Tastes vary, as demonstrated by the fact that the judges went one direction, and the people went the other with the winners. We also had two opposite reports of who should be the newcomer champs between Schnitzel and Cravings (tough choice even for me).

I just don't buy the idea that Anita Lo has that much power. And I do buy the idea that there are a lot of people with voting power (and no taste in dumplings) to vote in their hipster dumpling friends.
