@ last comment about roaches — yes, unless it’s a detached restaurant like a roadside diner. but regardless, the infestation should not get to the point where it appears IN your food.
I was at lucky cheng’s and the food was crap. what really ruined it though was the dessert plate at the end that had a nice half inch brown roach crawling all over the bottom of the plate. as we were reaching to it with our spoons the thing appeared on the rim and started sprinting laps around the cake. if it were one of those slow small black roaches, we would’ve ended up eating it unknowingly. ugh
we pointed it out and the waiter apologized and he/she brought out another plate 10 minutes later. meanwhile other tables were getting their dessert. reason to believe that our first plate was sent elsewhere? mmhmm.
