First off, WTF MAN?! I did not get the memo about the Primavera. I thoroughly enjoyed both the thanksgiving sandwich as well as the general vibe in Certe.

Zach, then you answered your own question. If you didn’t intend to pick a winner, and you intended for places to make good sandwiches, then by leaving it the way it is, you’ve met your goal.

Thing is, like any other promotion, it’ll fade away organically. Rather than picking a winner now and retiring the challenge, let it run for now and use the time to figure out what the next promotion ought to be that will inspire us to leave our desks.

nay. pick a winner and move on.

with every new entry (especially multiple entries from one contender) the prestige of being a winner dies a little.

If you do keep it on, i agree with making it a monthly winner sort of deal. except this would only work if there were an adequate number of entries per month…

I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. You could have a monthly Street Cart challenge for a meat/rice dish, or a buffet challenge, or a combo challenge (bonus points for dessert!). The key is to broaden participation…maybe an awareness campaign? Or some other incentive?
