there are two carts on 41st and 7th, one on the NE side, one on the SE. SE is bad, NE is pretty good–not as great as 43rd & 6th or 53rd & 6th, but definitely satisfying (and still just $5 unlike the others who’ve gone up the buck).

Yes, Trini-Pak’s chicken is a lot more flavorful than 53rd and 6th. He knows what he’s talking about.

in fact i DO work in the ny times building (but not for the times) and i DID go to the obama cart. i almost called mohammed because the lamb WAS chewy arrghh. they also didn’t have yellow rice and no squirty thing with hot green sauce. they just lightly spooned it on. all kwik meal offshoots are not created equal! i’ll prob still go back though…
