@blondie

Oh, well...if the butterscotch pecan bars/blondies are blondies...then they are certainly my most favorite blondie in the world! And yep, blondies do have more fun!

But my true love is for chocolaty brownies! Soorrrreee!

@ESNY: Finding out about good places to eat in midtown, perhaps? (btw, not quite 50 yet. And, ironically, I don't even work in midtown any more. Even more ironically, I still venture into midtown on occasion for lunch!)

@Lou: We'll just see how this season/century plays out.Spring training begins in a month!

I have a different kind of BBQ recommendation. Last week I heard that Bobby Flay recommended The Lee Brothers Southern Cookbook as one of the only 5 cookbooks you NEED. I bought it and made a couple recipes. It's fantastic! You can make some great southern food at home. Also, their story is intersting. They are native NYers that went south.

The missing hyphen in "Cowboy bone-in ribeye steak" makes that phrase inadvertently somewhat hilarious.

Ok, just got a chance to write anything here.

Firstly...Blondie...I think those are actually butterscotch pecan bars and not a blondie! I'm a chocolate lover and I brownies are better most of the time.

Thanks to everyone for the BBQ suggestions. I'll check out the places I haven't been to yet.

To all the Yankee haters....I don't really care what any of you think...But I will say that Met fans should keep their trap shut as they have nothing to brag about, and Red Sux fans shouldn't even begin to compare the last few years to the past 100. It's just silly to even debate it.

End of story.

OK...hoping everyone can enjoy food talk without silly baseball flame wars.
