Me and a number of colleagues recently ate at this restaurant and sat in the back/oustide section of the restaurant. We ordered, ate and and while we were paying we noticed a huge dead RAT lying against one of the walls. We all immediately shot up and left, we did pay however.

I will not be returning here.

I go to Udon West all the time and I love their Udon with Marinated Beef and Kimchee (so delicious)!
They also make very good Extra Crispy Beef Dumplings.
The staff is friendly (even the cooks) and very professional.
I have gone around the corner a couple of times to Menchanko Tei’s, but found their food to be only so-so and the pork in their ramen soup is 90% fat and inedible.
I will stick to Udon West from now on.

Went during dinner time. Perhaps it was because they were less busy, but the processing of customers was fine. Friendly staff and tasty food on a cold night. Because of the open kitchen and fried foods, smells will linger on your clothes.

Soup broth pretty good, Katsu Don with egg wasn't dry, but salty and good variety of sides.

It's ok, nothing special. Soup was good, noodles mediocre, fried chicken slightly subpar. Their operational process in taking orders, providing the actual take out, giving the bill, accepting payment, is terrible. I hope they learn from today and change how they process customers.

Why is it called Udon West when it's on the east side?
