I've ordered the Cantonese wonton noodle soup by take out before. I thought it was decent, the wontons are the real stuff that they serve at China town, NOT the fake wonton that they tend to serve at regular Chinese take out places or suburban Chinese restaurants (by fake I mean the wonton wrapper is very thick, and there's is barely any shrimp if any in it). Today I actually went to there, and yes it was PACKED. I ordered the wonton noodle soup with roast pork, and the meat gave the broth a lot more flavor. I will be odering the same thing again. Maybe other things. There must be a reason why it's so packed.

Just had some delicious General Tso's and fried rice. With the spice still in my mouth, I'd have to say it was one of the better Tso's dishes I've had in midtown. Overall a good pick.

It's usually DOH related when you see a name change. Clean slate once it's new everything on paper.

I like this place for lunch takeout. (Or did before the name change, haven't tried since.) They give you a ton of food with the lunch special - I generally make two lunches of it - and I'm fond of their wonton soup. Szechuan Gourmet is better and more exciting, but for me, farther. They do get really crowded, though, so the key is to call in an order.

I'm always suspicious when a restaurant changes their name yet has the same owners. It's usually DOH related. I'm hoping this one isn't.

Speaking of chains--I broke my no Mcdonalds vow after 2 plus yrs on New Yrs Day...wasn't feeling very Chinese. I forgot how much I love a bigmac, fries and Mcd's special brand of Coke!!! Hail to Mcdonalds! Hail! May the (on every) corner Mcdonalds never go out of business! And may it be an easy 2 more years until I am allowed to indulge again!
