Oh Rudy! Reading your posts is like opening a Wonka Bar, baby – we hope for the golden ticket but all we get is fudge. But hell, the BFT does agree that tourists suck. Slappies come out here from the midwest, put on a Padres cap and become a local overnight. Why just last week to break up with my hot but nutz Mexican girlfriend I had her deported back to the ‘ol country. So maybe she was a tourist, maybe not, I don’t know. But that’ll teach her a lesson in overstaying her welcome in “America’s Finest City.”

Jill: yes they do, and it’s a heckuva long bus ride too!

There’s a reason they put an Olive Garden and a Red Lobster in the middle of Times Square. (Along with the McD’s, etc., and even the *gulp* Tad’s for the unsuspecting out-of-towners.)

Once again: Why DO they call it ‘tourist season’ if we aren’t allowed to shoot them? Times Square and Rock Center are hellholes this time of year.
