The Wednesday buffet at the Norwegian church will resume in January, I believe; it's certainly worthwhile if you skip breakfast (and perhaps dinner the night before): http://www.eatingintranslation.com/2008/02/norwegian-seame.html

Exxx-cellent, as Mr. Burns would say.

A nice thing about their Christmas fair is that you can drop in for just a taste: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eatingintranslation/2042563486/

Either way, they're very friendly; ditto the folks at the Danish and Finnish fairs. I haven't tried the plate lunch at the Swedish bazaar, but I hope to remedy that oversight in about an hour.

To help pull these comments out of sounding completely fifth grade, I'd like to add something:
According to the church website, the buffet is now $20 and the next and last date for the lunch this year is Dec. 10.
Please proceed with the Beavis and Butthead comments. (OMG. Somebody said Seaman!)
