I’m pretty sure Crazy Legs Conti was on the episode of CashCab that aired tonigt. Two competitive eaters won $1,600.00.

I swear everytime I’m in town I look for that cab, one of these days Ben will be paying me to ride his cab.

Was great to meet you, Zach, and hang with CLC, Nate, and Beautiful Brian for a bit. I was only able to come in between clients and for :45, which is why I came late and left early, but Minado/Todai/ImiChua/whatever is always a good, filling meal.

My personal AYCE for taste if not variety is Sariku, on Lex at I think 29th Street? They have some great rolls, and for $21.95 I think at least it’s worth it for me (and the rest of us IFOCE guys).

In response to blondie at 2:10pm i finished 7 plates i actually wasnt even counting. I never heard of the staff at Todai demanding that everything on the plate must be cleaned or they will charge more. I wouldnt give them jack sh– if they tried that with me. On another note i am very impressed with the feedback/comments that is generated on this site. Keep up the outstanding work. I never made a dime on my website beautifulbrian.com and for 6yrs it was the most highly trafficed website in competitive eating history.

Has anyone tried the alleged sushi at Yoshinoya (sp?) on 42nd & 8th? There’s a sign for alleged sushi starting at $4. I’m just curious about what it could possibly consist of. Fish from the Hudson, perhaps?

I went there today as well, and tried to have everything. I don’t eat rice and only had one cup of water to just wet my mouth a little.

I was a little thrown off by them wanting to charge me money for leaving food on the plate so I had the extra challenge of finishing everything on my plate, including the stuff I ended up not liking, at all.

I manage to do all 3 parts of the buffet, though I missed the soups. I’m not a real fan of desserts so I didn’t really bother with that part.

If anything I think I would highly recommend this place to sushi/sashimi lovers. Best part of the buffet.
