Trust me, all you are getting from him is some harsh words. Consider for a moment what *I* have to go through. His idea of getting ready for the holidays, for example.......He's currently working on obtaining a suit of clothes exactly like those worn by the kid in "A Christmas Story" who got his tongue frozen to a lamppost. He's already had the lampost delivered, and intends to use crazy glue to simulate the freezing of the tongue to the lamppost, and then after he gets me suited up and stuck to the lamppost......well......I think you see where this is heading

What my dear husband meant is that you can now order custom hair pieces (if such things excite you) made from only the finest animal hair straight from the hairpiece division of my pet hair removal firm. We can usually even give you a choice of species - we have in our catalog several different types of dog, several long and short haired cats, rabbit, mongoose, skunk, possum, and (in a special purchase from some "hunters" from Georgia) american bigfoot (some freezer damage). At Twitchy's insistence, sorry, no hamster. Act now, and we'll throw in free dinner at a local korean bistro where you and a guest will be able to dine on the REST of the creature whose hair you chose.

shut up, DocChuck.

Ted, nice writeup. you seem cool. i, too, recommend szechuan gourmet -- the quality is awesome, ambiance is lovely, and if you split plates (which, you totally can) it won't break the bank. Also, empanada mama on 9th ave and 51st street is cheap, tasty, and fun for sit-down.

I recommend Cho Dang Gol [http://chodanggolny.com/]

the only thing inside of midtown lunch prices are the tofu soup ~10 bucks. It may seem like a lot but you also get side dishes!
