I walked over to Popeye’s today at lunch. 25-30 people in line! I waited 15 minutes and moved about 2 feet. No chicken is worth standing in line for 40 minutes… Instead, I stopped into Gray Papaya and had a ‘recession special’ – two dogs with a papaya drink for $3.50. Nice.

I think it’s 8 or 9 for the Rudy’s Red ale
But mostly all pitchers are ridiculously cheap. Also, they have free hot dogs.

This post made me go after work yesterday to Rudy’s bar with a bag of Piece of Chicken thighs, mac, and catfish. $7 pitchers and cheap fried food. Amazing.
