yo! Fay Da on 34th Street's got it all!!!

they got a full line of bubble tea/slushies with all different flavors... fresh fruit smoothies with or without bubbles... and if you can't decide which flavor is good for your taste buds, just ask the girls to mix a few flavors to surprise you.

now that's what i call bringing chinatown to midtown : )

oh yeah, you might wanna avoid their lunch hour rush because it sometimes is IMPOSSIBLE to walk into the store with the crowd that's inside.

When I used to work on 32nd, I could get bubble teas from Pho 32. Not really a true bubble tea, in my opinion, because they were a slushier texture than the ones I get from Teariffic in Chinatown.

But it's an awesome treat on a hot hot day.

If you're gonna order from Ying Du, make sure you call it "iced tea w/pearl" or something like that...otherwise they aren't going to know what you're talking about. There was some definite communication problems trying to make them understand what I wanted, even my with Chinese co-worker acting as a translator. But once I got the black milk tea...I was happy. :)

When I go to Hing Won and ask for Bubble Tea, it's always a hassle because it's rarely ordered. Someone has to come from the back and then it takes 10 minutes while everyone is looking at you.

I like Lili's in 56-57th St. on 7th for the Bubble tea fix.

I have to disagree with you on the Hing Won bubble tea. Your "not that bad" = my "could not even finish." Re: 32nd St., I know there's a bakery type place on the north side of the street between 5th and B'way (closer to B'way) that serves it, but the selection was narrow.
