OK, I just finished my chicken tikka masala and it seriously tasted like ketchup over chicken. Nasty. There was no spice at all to it. The Saag Paneer was way too salty. The mango lassi was overly sweet. I'm spoiled because I live in Jackson Heights but it was really sub-par Indian. The naan was decent though.

Zach - you missed the really ass-kicking deal at Indus Express. At the front of their store they have a sign for "All you can eat buffet." Last night my friend and I inquired, and to our great joy, the buffet consists of ALL of their meat and veggie curries, PLUS naan, for $8.99 (it's not a self serve buffet, but who freaking cares). The guy who seemed to run the place said that deal was available anytime, any day. Service was great, food was excellent, and the price really is phenomenal for what you're getting. And I didn't even make it to the chaat or the naan-rolls yet...

Whoops, I meant to say that I was in Argentina in February 2007. I forgot 2008 just had it's own February come and go. Looong day and it's only 2:30!
But 'twas definitely the same waiter.
By the way, Porcao and Marius Crustaceao, both in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, were the two best rodizios I've been to. The latter is a seafood rodizio. I had 6 lobster tails and bowl after bowl of garlic shrimp before they wheeled me outta there!

DDR - that's too weird! We were there from Feb 16-23. Maybe we even walked right by each other! Ooh, spooky. Haha. Yeah, that was one of the worse meals there, but mostly good food for very cheap (around the city), but the buffet at Rodizio alone would be more than $27 here in NYC so I guess it was okay.
