There's 2 Italian places near me I've been meaning to check out...Nino's on 46th between 5th and 6th, and Figaro on 44th between 5th and 6th. There's some places in the east 50s but too far for me. Personally, I think it's the best one in midtown. It's not great, but I haven't been able to find a better one. My advice would be to try it yourself. Park's seems to cause a lot of disagreement. I think it raises a more important question, though: Why is there no decent midtown Italian out there? Look at that food type list-Italian doesn't even make the cut.
