Went with a big team there to enjoy some good food, but was extremely disappointed with the watery food , no spice , no taste food . We decided to go here because in the past the place had good food. Apparently not any more . Will not revisit

Went there today after reading the reviews. As a matter of fact, I was so excited I even went by myself after my co-workers decided to go to a different spot. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff, however the food was miserable. All sauces were extremely watery, and they would have done well to get those ladels with the holes in the middle to strain the sauce after trying to fish meat out of the pan. It was edible and I'm stuffed, but I clearly had a very different experience here then most, and will most likely not be back (even with it 2 blocks from my work)

Very nice review, i am always amazed to see how much you know about buffets. (I'm a good student, some day, i'll be a master too!)
I totally agree, some time it's great to sacrifice quality for quantity, there is nothing i love more than going to a buffet where there are a lot of different things to try. Never tried an indian buffet though, that's next!

INSECT PANEER, ANYONE?
Went with three work friends and high hopes after reading ML. All was fine until I spotted a crawly thing on my friend's sweater, swatted it, and ultimately flattened it under a napkin. The group confirmed it was a cockroach, and I nearly hit the roof. Quietly told the manager I had no intention of paying the tab and got the hell out of Dodge. Not even a $10 lunch in midtown is worth this bs.

I had several meals here and did not have a problem with their quality. However, today was a bit disappointing. The place wasn't packed, but the place looked unorganized and not tidy. I went there at 1:30 pm, and they just brought out new rice, but the rice was just done so it was still soggy. Soggy tasteless (they forgot to season it) rice with curry on top. All that liquid made it....just ew. My naan was cold and without oil or butter. They need to hire more help or else be more efficient. The meal was not horribly bad, but it is not satisfying at all. I could have gotten a burger.
