I didn't know he did chicken sandwiches. I will try that next time. So far my favorite is the sausage and pepper sandwich.

I had him make me a double cheeseburger one time.

Crazy. It was so juicy it dissolved the bun and it was huge, gluttonous and unmanageable.

So what did I have him do a month later? Make me a double burger in the larger sandwich roll. "That's too much. 16 oz. Lotta meat!" he said. Sure enough, that was crazy, too. I ended up pulling out one burger worth to eat the thing.

Two individual burgers might be the way to go, and I could do it, but I think the sad truth is no matter how hard I try, I'm gonna have to be happy eating one of these babies per lunch.

My ideal street lunch would be a CJ burger and a CJ grilled chicken sandwich. And an extra stomach (though from the size of the one I've got you wouldn't thibnk I needed it!)

I can likely eat two of them, then go into a food coma at work. According to NY Grub Street, CJ has 8 oz burgers. 1/2 pounders with cheese for $4? That's really good!

Wayne's 'best of all' is only one of the best. The very best would have to be Pie for dessert, during or after burger intake...

StreetMeatTumor is right... 2 burgers always better than burger + fries

Like a cheesesteak, the proper amount to eat at CJ = 1.5 burgers. One too little, two too much

Best of all of course is a burger and a BJ

SMO3K8 - the burger is pretty big (I'd say at least 6oz). Not sure you'd need 2 :)

Awesome. I got to go see CJ again and get my burger fix. Burger Joint def. didn't hit the spot. I haven't been to Five Guys for a long while. I'm very glad to hear about the cheap and great burger option.

No Fries isn't the biggest deal to me. I rather have two $4 CJ burgers than an order of mediocre fries.

Just had one for the first time. It's still $4 and still beats Burger Joint or 5 guys (if you don't care about the fries).

That said, I'm not sure why wayne is giving out advice on asking a John where to go for a BJ (though the advice seems sound).
