Try Zibetto on 6th avenue between 56/57. It’s a tiny Italian style coffee bar. Very yummy.

Motion for Oren’s granted! They’re the only place I’ve found that (1) uses great coffee and (2) properly brews it. The love of Oren’s is amply demonstrated by the regular line wrapped in and around the store in GCT. Dunkin is ok, but their coffee is, of course, a pretext for the donuts – everything tastes better when you’re high on sugar…

…which brings us to Starbucks. Their “coffee” is not only burnt, but also tastes like it’s been gmo’d to ensure the caffeine levels are high enough to burn a hole in your brain. It’s undrinkable unless you’re chasing it with one of their overpriced desserts.

How fitting that ML has a coffee forum on the first day in the last 4 years that I’ve missed out on my regular cup. Probably explains why I misread Logic’s website and thought it was a Scandinavian pun (fyordie).

Read that Seattle’s Best Coffee cold-brews too. They’re in Borders, but I don’t know if they have any stand-alone stores in the city.

Where can I find “cold brewed iced coffee” midtown besides the Juan Valdez shops? they are slightly out of my way work wise. Tried burger joint for first time today, pretty good.

Not sure if you’re a espresso fan but Zibetto’s on 55th and 6th makes AMAZING espresso. =)
