Eh, it was expensive, and the extra $$ seemed to pay for only loud house music and tacky modern design, not better food. All style (and icky soul-sucking style, at that), no substance.

I think that this place has style (obviously) and substance, but only insofar as the ingredients are all fresh and carefully crafted. However, nothing there was particularly satisfying. I find the same is true of Lenny’s sandwiches–just not enough flavor. Hell, start by adding some salt and go from there.

i passed by this place yesterday on my way to wichcraft, and wish i had read some of the reviews before checking it out today.

it looked pretty snazzy, and the prices were high but not outrageous. but quality wise (and portion wise) it was pretty bleh.

rice was too bland/mushy, fish was average, salad wasn’t very well balanced. its the quality you’d expect from convenience store sushi in fancy packaging and dressings.

give it a pass..

Love their tasty firecracker miso soup. Got to have it on the side, it gives you a great buzz!
Sushi is good, i mean the other places around here (which are only a few) aren’t good and lack of taste.
This is a cool place to have a relaxing calorie controlled,if you want or not, lunch.

Have lunch here on a regular bases, as close to work. Whether i just take it to go or stay it’s healthy, tasty especially love their soups and sashimi salads. A lunch that doesn’t make you feel deflated when you’re back at your desk!Can have a good healthy lunch for under $10!

i am a regular here but just tried the shitake meatballs in stead o the regular sushi fashion parade

very glad I did. was wary after reading about the beef skewers but they seemed to have dropped these.

i’d go the meatballs everyday, though they could use a side salad of some kind.

they have just the right amount of teriyaki sauce and with rice and edamame are a very filling lunch for $8

this place is certainly a welcome step up from some of the horrors of quick lunch options in midtown. certainly easier to find something you like than sifting through the minefield of 41st….

Had their Mini Bento Beef Skewer box. Awful, just awful. Beef was like leather, not to mention the sauce was sickeningly sweet. Seriously, the meat had to be of the lowest grade allowable by the USDA. I threw away most of it because it was simply unchewable. The box did look very nice though, which is why I was fooled. All style, zero substance.

okay, I finally found this place…completely overpriced! stick to 41st street between 5th and Mad….
