If you’re hankering for a bubble tea in Midtown, “Tease” located on 3rd Ave between 27th & 28th is a must! The quality is superb, and I’ve tried several places in Manhattan. I love their coconut milk bubble tea as well as their $2.50 specials which vary by the week. http://www.teaseny.net/

Dishes bubble tea is terrible! and its $4.50! The tapioca is hard and the tea is too watery.

The Bubble Tea in Dishes is $4.50 and it is NOT done right. It merely canned fruit syrup with large ice cubes and canned fruit at the bottom with medium sized tapiocca pearls. I do not recommend it.

Dishes does really nice bubble tea – mango, passionfruit, green tea. I think it’s quite pricey – about $3.50 but it’s worth it. Dishes is on 45th between Madison and 5th

Times Gourmet deli (40th bet. 7th and 8th) supposedly has bubble tea. I haven’t tried it myself so I can’t attest to how good it is or how much it costs. I also miss having good bubble tea in the area.

I think Hing Won had a poster advertising bubble tea. Not sure how good it is, or if they still carry it, but it is conveninently located midtown and easy enough to check it out.
