My preference in Memphis is Interstate.

I have only tried Corky's at the Memphis airport, not bad for airport food , but otherwise not great. Rendezvous is a bit of a tourist trap, the meat is very inconsistent.

If you are ever in Memphis again and want some real Authentic dry ribs, go to Rendezvous. It is in downtown near the Peabody.

Also, Neely's barbecue is better than Corky's. I lived in Memphis for a while and have many friends there, and they feel that Corky's may have become too commercialized.

Somewhat similar to Dreamland BBQ from Tuscaloosa, AL, which used to be amazing until they started franchising.

I guess people just get too greedy and then the food quality suffers

Be excited working that close to Aurther Ave. I am a Fordham grad and lunch in midtown is not the same. Tino's makes the best sandwhichs and pretty much any slice on Aurther will be better than anything in any other bourough

Josh, very cool to see a picture and read about you! I have spent much time checking out your pictures on Flick. I think you are a great photographer, with a really good eye. Good job! Thanks for the wonderful pix.

Actually, the closest Corky's I know of is at the Tropicana in Atlantic City. I think it's still there. Definitely gets a thumbs-up for the ribs (even with the sauce).

That's amazing! They didn't have that one listed on their website. I need to get to A.C...
