Report from Sophie's:

Got there a few minutes before noon, line not too bad. I had the picadillo (ground beef stew) w/beans and rice. Delicious, and with a nice tang from the capers. My wife, who's a pickier eater, had the spicy grilled chicken breast w/rice, and said it was very moist and flavorful, and not too hot. On the whole, a winner.

Line was a bit down the block at 12:50, but it was moving quickly. Place was very well staffed, and handling the crowds very well.

Regular menu looks good, with entree and two sides for $8, and different specials each day. Definitely a come-backer.
