Midtown is Sausage Free Until August 1st
An annoymous poster said that they saw a sign saying the Hallo Berlin Cart would gone all of July… back on August 1st. I’ll be there with bells on. Who’s with me?

You must try the Daisy Mae’s Barbecue cart right outside of your building. It’s incredible. Also, the fruit cart that’s on the north side of 49th has outstandingly fresh fruit and it’s dirt cheap.

I have mixed feelings about the respite from sauasage heaven… I was in Germany for world cup, and as such, think that a break from sausage until then probably makes sense for me. On the other hand, knowing that i’m not able to procure sausage is always a nerve-wracking situation… I’ll try to pick up this thread on our new food cart blog– iheartcarts.com. Kudos on your great reporting thus far, midtown lunch!
